ChristensenLois B age 68 died suddenly on Sunday,
Dec. 3, 2000 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Lois was born in Albert Lea, MN on
July 15, 1932, to Helen and Clifford Christensen. She spend her early
childhood in Wells, MN. She later moved to Kasson, where she graduate from
high school. After high school she attended the Gale INstitute. She was
employed by Burlington Northern until she retired in 1994. Lois was
preceded in death by her parents, Helen and Clifford Christensen. She is
survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Ruth Ann and Vaughn Sai. She is
also survived by two nieces, Jean Stai (Art Penfield) and Kristi Kearney
and one great-niece, Katie Kearney. Lois was loved by her family and was

HollenhorstStephen Edward, age 44 of Roseville,
formerly of Rochester, died tragically on Sunday, December 3, 2000 as a
result of a light airplane crash. He is survived by his wife Carla
Barwineck and daughters Anna, age 12, and Elly, age 10; and his parents
Dr. Robert W. Hollenhorst & Alice (Nolan) of Rochester. Also survived
by his brothers & sisters, Robert W. Jr. of Duluth, Michael J. (Sandy)
of Orono, Mary (Robert) Lazarus of Milbrae, CA, John T. (Swantje) of Salt
Lake City, UT, James N. (Mary Rerat) of Saratoga, CA, Kathleen (Robert)
Pohly of Lakewood, CO, and Thomas M. of Sterling, VA. He is also survived
by Carla's parents Gerald & Shirley Barwineck, and sister Jayne
Delforge and her husband Tom Delforge, and he is survived by numerous
nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Steve was preceded in death by his
brother Father Mark Hollenhorst of the Duluth Catholic Archdiocese.
Stephen was a 1974 graduate of Mayo High School in Rochester and the
University of MN in Mpls, with a degree in German Language in 1978. He
completed course work at Frieburg University in Germany. Steve was an
accomplished musician and actor. He was active in community theatre and is
remembered by hundreds of fans as LM in the long-running Plymouth
Playhouse production of Pump Boys and Dinettes. Steve was a vice president
at Shandwick International, the well-known international public relations
firm where he had been working since 1996. For several years prior to that
he had been with the MN Dept. of Revenue where he was responsible for
developing improved communications. He also worked for several years in
the medical device industry as product manager & technical writer.
Steve and his family enjoyed their Roseville home, but especially their
summer cabin on Gull Lake in Brainerd, MN. He had been flying light
aircraft for many years, and was finishing up his twin engine commercial
instrument ratings when he was killed. Steve was an extremely kind,
intelligent, and loving father & husband, and will be dearly missed by
