Any girl who is 5 thru 7 years old, or in kindergarten thru the twelfth
grade can become a Girl Scout in the USA. Girls of different races,
backgrounds and religious groups are welcome in Girl Scouting.
If you are interested in having your daughter join Girl Scouting in
Holmdel, simply contact the corresponding specialist listed below:
- Daisies: Ages 5-6 or grades K,1
- Brownies: Ages 6-8 or grades 1-3
- Juniors: Ages 8-11 or grades 3-6
- Cadettes: Ages 11-14 or grades 6-9
- Seniors: Ages 14-17 or grades 9-12
Adult Volunteer Opportunities
No matter what your experience, your age, or the amount of time you
have to give, we can use your help. Girls will grow strong as a result
of your participation.
Leader/Co-leader - Work as a troop/group leader directly with
girls, leading meetings and conducting activities.
Service Unit Team member - Many roles must be filled in addition
to that of the troop leader in order to provide a quality scouting
program in Holmdel. Perhaps your schedule does not permit you to lead a
troop, but volunteering at the Service Unit Level is another very
important way to ensure that scouting continues in Holmdel. If you are
