Trinidad California is located North of Eureka near the
redwoods. Coastal fog is a common condition in the winter when
the
air is cooler than the water. Rock islands are strung along miles
of shoreline. Many of the rocks are large enough to support trees
and pockets of vegetation. During low tide one can walk to the
rock
showing trees. The rising fog adds to the depth effect.
