| Morgan Territory Regional Wilderness is about 8 miles North of Livermore California. Some days are nicer than others and this mid-November day was a bit gray but interesting. A clear day would have shown California's Central Valley and the Sierra Range where we see storm clouds. The upper atmospheric haze really did reduce the contrast of the few rainbows that we shot this day. None the less, it was a fine place to down an ale and watch the clouds for a while. My friend Brandon did a cha-cha of me and my twins |

| The clouds in the upper photo blew right over Tracy California and that little tail at the bottom just seemed like it wanted to stay in Tracy. The following day's Tracy newspapers showed the funnel cloud from a different perspective - below it! |

I walk these hills often. It is a good
place to visit and to stroll
among the clouds. Sure, it is just fog when you are in them, but when
the sun shines through the fog, the light is magic. Rarely, it is
just wet and gray, unattractive to most people. I am prepared to shoot
then as well, but may take few or no shots. It is nice to
have places
to go and try different techniques. One never knows what they might
find, petroglyphs, mushrooms, goat skulls, or sister
coyote.
