Holy Communion

The Family Centered First Holy Communion program is a two year program.  During this time the baptized child will receive instruction to prepare him/her to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.  The child will be instructed as to the necessity of regular Confession and frequent Communion.  The Truths of the Faith will be presented in such a way as to enable the child to understand the basic Doctrine of the Real Presence.  Also covered during this time will be The Ten Commandments, the obligation of Mass attendance, basic prayers and devotion to the Blessed Mother.
