I originally installed a stock 327 with tri-power. That lasted about 2 years. Thats right, "MORE POWER!". In went a 350 with a B & M Blower, aluminum heads with roller rockers, etc. I did finally manage to blow up that engine when an intake valve spring broke. Took out the block, heads and most everything else. So next was a GM crate Ram-Jet 350. What a sweet motor until I started having computer problems. It turns out that I couldn't find anyone to work on it. GM doesn't support these motors and no one else wanted to touch it. Finally gave up and sold the fuel injection off the motor and installed a Holley Stealth Ram fuel injection. That's where the motor is now.
Transmission.
The transmission is a TH350 with extra clutches and hardened input shaft. I opted for this transmission to avoid that loss of horsepower that you get with a TH400. It has held up very well, even with the blown 350 putting out about 550 HP. I also had a torque converter built with a 2500 rpm stall.

The colors are original, Gypsy Red and Ivory White. I used lots of Deltron, sanded it all down, then used the buffer on it.

I bought an oven and powder coating gun and coated almost all the suspension. And anything else that would fit in my oven.
