'61 Corvette

This car was crushed in a mud slide and sat in a guy's garage for years. The drive train was mostly missing, so body and frame were the starting point. The car was stripped down to the frame and put back together over a 5 year period. I purchased two corvettes, both totals, over the years and used them to build this '61.

SUSPENSION.

  • Rear is original with gas shocks.
  • Front is a "Jim Meyer" racing front end with coil over shocks and Rack & Pinion steering. The front end is lowered 2" and the rear is lowered l-1/2"

OTHER MODIFICATIONS.

Aluminum radiator

Ididit steering column with steering linkage through the headers to the R & P.

Battery in trunk.

Auto-meter gauges.
