Women in the Wind
Hoosierettes Chapter
Introducing the WITW Hoosierettes Chapter
We are the northwest Indiana chapter of Women in the Wind and we like to ride. Weather permitting we ride after our monthly meetings. Some rides are only a couple hours but sometimes they last so long they include a late lunch stop. In the beginning of the riding season we attend a couple of bike blessings. Through the year we support many local charity rides, in addition, we plan rides for just our group often to a food or ice cream destinations. Annually, members attend WITW Summer Nationals and our President, Brycie, usually braves winter nationals as well. We have riders at all levels of experience from new riders to some with over 20 years on the road, with most riders somewhere in between. Our our President, Brycie and our Road Captain often spend "one on one" time with new riders working on riding skills. We do not have any mandatory rides, all rides are optional for our members.
