Troubleshooting Blue-Black Pool Water

Does your swimming pool water have an odd blue or black tint to it? Are you wondering what the problem could be?

Well, blue or black water is usually an indication of manganese in the pool. This can result when the water is corrosive. To fix the problem, use a sequestering agent or a clarifier on the water regularly. Your local pool dealer will be able to point these products out to you and explain how to use them.
