Yard Waste Ordinance! Grass, Hedges, etc., must be maintained and trimmed. No storage of junk or household trash on properties within boro limits.
You must belong to the refuse system to have yard waste and recyclables picked up!




Dupont Lions Food Program

The Dupont Lions Club in cooperation with the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg N.E. PA Regional Food Bank, is sponsoring a food donation give away to all persons living in the Dupont and Suscon Areas, who fall within the following guide line.

For each additional person add $5,730.00 for annual income, and $478.00 for monthly income, and $110.00 for weekly income. With the help of the Holy Mother of Sorrow’s PNC Church, and the Sacred Heart of Jesus RC Church, these donations will take place once a month, usually on the fourth Thursday of the month. Dupont Borough Pavilion Rental Rates:

$100.00 (6 Hours)
Pavilion only! Park is open to General Public

In addition to the above rental costs, the person or organization must provide in their own name, an insurance binder...Minimum coverage of $300,000.00 for bodily injury and property damage. NOTE: An insurance binder is easily obtainable through the agent who provides you either renters or homeowners insurance, and there should be little or no charge.

Additional Information:
A. Operating hours are 8:30am till 8:00pm.
B. A Recreation board representative will open and
    close the building, as well as instruct usuage of
    the facility.
C. Lessee is responsible for conduct of all persons
    attending.
D. Proper clean up remains the responsibility of the     lessee. Garbage will be removed by the borough.
E. If using a caterer, they are responsible for clean
    up of the Kitchen including the cooking facilities. F. The use of glass beverage containers is
    prohibited.
G. All items belonging to the lessee, guests, caterers,      etc., must be removed at closing. (Borough is
     not responsible for any items left behind.)
H. Please remember that you are in a Municipal
     Park, and only those activity areas near the
     pavilion are exclusive for your use.
I. Payment for rental of the Pavilion is non-
    refundable under any circumstances.
J. The Pavilion and Park area is smoke free!
K. Please adhere to the signs posted!
You will receive a rental lease agreement from the Borough when all conditions are met, and a date is assigned for your use of the Pavilion.
