Susannah listed as fourth of eight children of John Pond (b. 12 June, 1812, Ludlow, NB d. 17 June, 1893) and Susannah Selina Price (b. 13 Apr. 1814, d. 15 Feb. 1884). John Pond and Susannah Price were married 9 July, 1835. John being a descendant of the New England Loyalist, John Pond (b. 1763).

	vii.	son	Harry Karl Hovey b. 15 Oct 1909; d. 1953. To my understanding Karl drowned while drifting salmon at night illegally and one of his cohorts seen a light and yelled WARDEN. Everyone started running and Karl got caught up in the net. I believe he was found the next day.

3. Henrietta Mae¹⁰ Hovey (Herman⁹, Alexander⁸, Aaron⁷, Aaron⁶, Stephen⁵, Aaron⁴, Ivory³, John², Daniel¹) married Roy Wilbur Hovey son of Charles Alfred Hovey who was a son of Aaron and brother of Alexander William Hovey. They lived in Ludlow, New Brunswick Canada.
Notes on Henrietta:
Henrietta died at the Central New Brunswick Nursing Home in Boiestown. She was a member of the St. James Anglican Church in Ludlow where her funeral services were held by the Reverends Richard McConnell and Kevin Barhwick.

5. Dennis Arthur¹¹ Hovey (Norman¹⁰,Herman⁹,Alexander⁸,Aaron⁷,Aaron⁶,Stephen⁵, Aaron⁴, Ivory³, John², Daniel¹) b. 17 Jan 1924, Cross Creek, New Brunswick; m. Elizabeth Carolyn Spinney, daughter of Advill Ami Spinney and Elsie Wood, at the South Eliot Methodist church on August 24, 1947. (See Spinney Genealogy for more information on Elizabeth.)
Notes: After the death of his father Norman, who drowned, Dennis Arthur Hovey moved to North Stratford NH., and later Exeter NH., where he was raised by Ina Mae (Flynn), sister of Phyllis Edna (Flynn) Hovey, and Donald Rae Harriman. (See Flynn Genealogy for further information on Ina and Donald.) After serving in World War II, Dennis moved to Berwick ME. where he met and married Elizabeth Carolyn Spinney. They lived many years in Eliot ME., while Dennis worked 15 years for General Electric in Springfield ME. They had children Dennis Norman and Donald Advill while living in Eliot ME. Dennis Arthur has lived at 111 Valentine Drive, Manchester NH. 03103 since 23 Nov 1963.

Notes: Dennis Norman is a graduate of Del Mar College in Corpus Christi TX. with an Associate of Arts degree and an Associate in Applied Science in computer programming in 1986. Received a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Corpus Christi State University in 1987. They moved to Oak Ridge TN. in June 1987 where Dennis took a job as Computer Program Analyst for Lockheed Martin Energy Research at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. They lived at Tara Hills apartments in Oak Ridge TN. until they built a home, Dec 1988, at 144 Chestnut Ridge Road, Kingston TN. In Nov 1992 they sold the home and placed a modular home on an ajoining 5.5 acres at 200 Chestnut Ridge Road, Kingston TN. They lived there while building a home at 11320 Clear Point Dr. Knoxville TN. 37932 which was completed on 26 Jan 1996.
