UNION HILL BAPTIST CHURCH
Union Hill Baptist Church was established in 1838. Five acres of land was given by Hardy Strickland. It is located in Forsyth County, although Fulton County is across the road from the church. The first building was built of logs and there was a balcony for the slaves to sit in and worship. It was named Union Hill because of the hill it was on and because of the union of the two counties (Forsyth and Milton at that time). It was first called Foot Path because all the houses had paths to the church. Around 1882, all the minutes of the church were burned. An arbor was constructed in 1912 or 1913. It would hold around a thousand people. Sometimes during a revival it would be full and running over.
