Duluth to the Bahamas at 6 mph.

On July 15,1996, Jill and I, with our Portuguese Water Dogs, Mari and Tica, left Duluth, MN for a one-year sailing sabbatical aboard our 27 ft.
sailboat, Rainbow
Chaser .We
logged over 3800 nautical miles from Lake Superior to Georgetown in the
southern Bahamas before the money ran out and we had to go back to Minnesota
and find work again.

By 2001 we were ready for another big sailboat. So, after much research,
we bought a 1984 Endeavour 35 from Charleston, SC and had it trucked up to
Minnesota. Her name is
Liberty and currently at Barker's Island Marina, Superior, WI on Lake Superior.
