Community Activities
Blood Bank
- The Blood Bank provides a valuable service to our church and community. The chairman and his team coordinate the blood drives at St. Theresa's Parish. These blood drives benefit the parish by making parishioners eligible to receive blood should the need arise
Measure-Up Campaign
- The Measure up Campaign is an order wide charity that the Knights participate in and benefits the Association for Retarded Citizens. This Campaign includes a donation drive where a booth is manned at a local store or mall, rulers are handed out and donations accepted to benefit ARC. This Campaign runs during March.
Mother's Day Carnation Sales
- Each year, our Council sponsors and conducts the sale of Carnations on Mother's Day after all Masses. The sale of these flowers recognizes the vital importance of our mothers in the parish and all proceeds go to the Pennsylvanians for Human Life. The committee is responsible to procure the flowers, coordinate with PA for Human Life, and organize Knights and their families to sell the flowers after all Masses.
Pro-Life Committee
- The purpose of this committee is to keep the Council informed on the fight against legalized abortion in this country and to facilitate programs and opportunities for the Council to contribute to the end of this scourge.
