Council Activities
Charter Mass Committee - This committee takes care of scheduling the Council's annual Charter Mass to celebrate the anniversary of our Council Charter. This involves scheduling the Masses at St. Theresa and coordinating with the Fourth Degree honor guard to be present at the Masses.
COAL (Chance of a Lifetime) - This program, which benefits State Council Charities and our local Council, is another valuable fundraiser to support the Knights many activities. The committee is responsible to secure the tickets, make them available for sale, and send the proceeds in by the scheduled deadlines.
Football Sweepstakes - This program, initiated by the State Council, is a fundraiser for both the State Council and our local Council. The committee is responsible for getting the Sweepstakes tickets and making them available for purchase to the widest extent possible, then collecting the funds and sending them in by the deadline. Mgsr. Leitch Memorial Golf Tournament - This committee organizes and conducts the annual golf tournament. This tournament is a great opportunity for fun and fellowship and contributes to a great many programs that the Council provides.
Knight of the Month/Year - Each month we honor a Brother Knight who exemplifies the principals of the Knights of Columbus. The Brother Knight is presented with a certificate signed by the Grand Knight. A photograph of the award ceremony is taken and appears in our monthly new letter with an accompanying article. When considering a knight, the Grand Knight ask the following questions: Has the Knight made significant contributions to the Church, community and/or council? Does the Knight take initiative? Does the Knight take an active role in meetings? Has the Knight practiced charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism in his daily life? Has the Knight gone above and beyond ordinary service for the council? 2004 Knights of the Month
Council Pinic - Each summer the Knights of Council 8921 get together for some good food and company at a Brother Knight's house for a barbeque.  Council provides food and activities for Knights and their families.
Fish Fry - This fundraiser is held during Lent on Fridays.  Knights from the council cook and serve Fish and variety of other food to Parish and community members.  Event was started in 2006 with one Friday scheduled.  This event is a good way to promote the council to the Parish and provide parishioners with good food and fun during the Lent season.
