Finally, a day to take a break from playing games and getting productive. Too bad that the majority of my time spent will be working on my senior design project.

I just finished writing up a review for Dead To Rights (Xbox). I just combined the thoughts of writing a mini/normal length review into one and came up with such reviewing technique as seen in the review. It's a start and a different way to review. I shall put up a review for Parasite Eve II in the coming days.

I ended up scheduling an unexpected doctor's visit for a physical. Nothing wrong with me so far. This is just a beginning of a routine check up that should've been done every year. Might as well start now. I also had to go to the hospital to get some x-rays done. This took up the most time yesterday. So there goes my entire afternoon yesterday taking care of this. Now today, I'm going to try and catch up what should've been done yesterday.

Only problem is, I'm having fun playing Ultimate Doom with my friend co-op style over the Internet. Fun indeed. I would recommend to anybody to get jDoom to be able to play over the Internet and play it rendered in OpenGL or Direct3D. jDoom is a very nice combination of a lot of modifications of Doom all in one package. Been playing with my friend for the past couple of days now. We plan on playing through all past Doom incarnations. Ultimate Doom, Doom II and Final Doom. We both went out and bought Doom's Collector Edition to get all three in one package. Worth the $10.39 that was paid to get this package.

About an hour ago, I just got back from a local Wal-Mart store. I went and bought Doom Collector's Edition. Yes, the old school first person shooter game from id Software. Includes a Doom triology collection from id Software. Will soon play it with a friend co-op style. Just waiting for my friend to come back with the game and play over the Internet. Funny thing when I checked out at Wal-Mart, I was carded. I told the employee I was 22 (I just turned 22 on July 9th). She was like, pffffff. She also gave me a strange look, as if I wasn't being honest about my age. I gave her my driver's license at her request. Oops. Seems like I'm well over 17 years of age. Yes, I look young at my age. I can always be mistaken for an under age kid. Don't blame anybody. Glad I still got a young body at an old age like mine. Hehehehehehe.

Well, I was going over how I'm going to write up the reviews for the games I've played. It was either a mini review or a normal length review. I want to do a mini review type, but the more I think about what I'm about to say about the game, it can lead to a longer review than what it's suppose to be. So much for being a mini review when it's lengthy. I'll decide what I'll be doing later on in the day and get to it.

Well, it seems that my friend has finally came home with his copy of the game. Time to get some action going on with the legacy Doom games. Woohoo!

Sigh. Today, I feel like a 22 year old. Oh wait. I turn 22 today. Happy birthday to me.

Ever since the first post on July 1st, I was pretty much pre-occupied with games in my possession. After a few days with Command & Conquer: Generals Zero Hour, I ended up playing other games: Dead Or Alive: Xtreme Beach Volleyball, Buffy The Vampire Slayer on Xbox, and Resident Evil: Dead Aim for PS2. Played those games to get the feel of it. DOAXBV was the game that I enjoyed the most. I also re-installed Half-Life to play Counter-Strike 1.5 (yes, I know 1.6 is out, but playing with an older version). Boy was it fun to get rocked and rock them back.

After playing briefly through those four games, I then went back to my other game that I played long time ago, but never got to finished it because of school: Parasite Eve II. I was finally able to beat this game and got the true ending. Took me some time to finish the game. Now time to move onto the next game. Don't know which one yet, but I'll decide tonight.

So, my website went into limbo mode due to my entertainment with either my PS2, Xbox, and the PC. I'll eventually do something about it. Just not at the moment. I feel like I want to spend a lot of time entertaining myself with the games I've collected over the years and never had the chance to really play them and beat them from start to finish. So I want to play all the games I have, but then again, to be realistic, only some will be played. I don't think I'm going to beat all Final Fantasy games within one month. I have yet to play any Final Fantasy games, by the way. Ouch.

I've added a short section for Command & Conquer: Generals Zero Hour. I've added two maps that I've modified when I played with my friend. Nothing too heavy, but these maps were modified for some co-op against several AI's.

I'm thinking about putting up reviews of games I've played to my website. That might be a good idea, given that I actually do it. We'll see within the next few days if I will. Given that I just beaten Parasite Eve II, I potentially have something to write about.

Well, July has finally came by. I finally post something as well. For the last few days, I've been involved playing a game called Command & Conquer: Generals, with the addon Zero Hour. Oh what fun it is to play C&C game once more. I have a nice collection of past C&C games, but I just added Generals with Zero Hour addon to my collection. I just love the weapons of mass destruction in that game. I spent most of my time playing Generals either with my friend or against the AI. I have yet to take on the world. But I'm not ready for the world yet, so I'll play against the AI and with my friend.

So much for productivity for this week. It's just all entertainment with Generals game. The graphics look nicely rendered on my computer. Too bad too much eye candy can slow the game down once there are a load of many units killing each other on screen. Well, if you guessed it right from the beginning of this post, I'll spend even more time playing with Generals. I'll eventually move on to other things. Just don't know when.

I'm already thinking about putting up a section Generals section under my nearly empty Games section. I'll see what I can put up. At least one map that I've modified so that my friend and I can take on 4 brutal AI's can go up in the section. Should probably see a Generals section soon enough by the end of this weekend.

Well, time to get some rest. Will enjoy another round of skirmishes in Generals. Probably create a new multiplayer map for my friend and I to play.
