Been a week since I last posted up any news. So, for my website, links to downloading a few files from my website has been fixed.
Affected files to name a couple were HLFAQ and BEFSR41 Setup guide. That's pretty much it for my website world. Nothing much more
to update. Don't got the time. Sigh.
I reloaded firmware 2.20 onto my DI-614+ router. It is stable now. Don't know why I had problems last time, but now everything is
working. I want to write a guide associating with the DI-614+ router, but gee, I don't got the time. So this brings up to my next
short paragraph topic...
Time. Out of 24 hours a day, I don't get much free time on my hands anymore since school and work takes up most of it. To remedy
this problem, because I got sick of just going with the flow how my free time was and cram everything in when needed (read: homework
procrastination). So I had to plan things out a bit so that I can see where are my free time are located each day. I believe this
reorganization time will help me get things done at a quicker pace than what I've been doing for the past month. So theoretically, I
should be getting more things done and have time to do other things like continue on with my programming project and write editorials
for my website. So I will see how well things will go. At least I can determine that I will get more sleep than what I kept getting
during the past month. Sleeping time fluctuates so badly. 6 hours of sleep is not good for me.
Time to digress a bit. 19" LCD monitor is awesome. Especially when coupled with my laptop. Since my laptop supports dual
monitors, I have twice the desktop space. Using dual monitors is great. This sure improves my productivity rate, as I normally load
a lot of windows at one time, and I happen to switch back and forth constantly. Now all I have to do mostly is move my eyeballs
around a bit instead of moving my hands and click here and there most of the time.
Well, that's enough from me. I need to get some sleep soon enough. Hopefully, there will be a show of free time in the coming
weeks. What, not days? Yeah right. I don't expect it to improve drastically that I have more free time overnight. I have exams
coming up soon, so that's why. Got to study for those beasts. Of course, school work is surely to interfere more than it's planned
and set out to be. Especially if I'm too stupid to figure out the problem and solving it. Hopefully not.

I have updated My Computers section. I'm pulling in parts by parts to build my own desktop computer
in the coming weeks. So far, I got a sound card, CD-RW drive, and a monitor for it. Who knows when my next generation desktop will
be finished. I'm missing a lot of other components, but as time will pass by, I'll have them in my hands. At least I'll have a
computer that I can do more than what I can with my current laptop and desktop. My current computers restrict some activities and
the time to complete tasks. Hopefully, the newer desktop computer will speed things up and let me complete things in a faster way. I
plan on overclocking that Intel Pentium 4 2.4GHz 800MHz FSB by the way. My goal is 3GHz+. No way am I sticking to base speed. Hehehe.
Just got to wait patiently when the parts flow into my possession.

Woke up and glad to see that I still have power. Everything is working okay. As for any damage around my area, not that I can see
of, but then again, I haven't gone outside. Looking out my window, my neighborhood looks in top shape. No apparent downed trees or
sustained damage to houses.
Last night was something... Winds were blowing, but not too fast, but sure made some noise. Power was hanging in there. At many
points during the night when I was up and using the Internet, I can see that power was barely delivered in sufficient quantity. I
can see that power would go off and on quickly. My uninterruptible power supply kicked in for that split second power fluctuation.
Although there was a minor problem, one of the ups that was down in the basement went offline. The problem was that the battery
wasn't connected. D'oh! Had it connected and it started to do its job. Thought I had it connected properly when I bought it some time
ago, but guess not.
Out side, there's still a slight windy condition. At least it wasn't blowing hard like last night. Well, I'm going to get back to
get things done around here.

Chalk up another free day off from college. Friday classes are cancelled. Woohoo! Another great day to sleep in. I sure got in
10 hours of sleep last night. Would enjoy doing it again tonight. It's too bad that I'll have to end it right after tonight, because
I need to get back on doing homeworks, projects, and study for upcoming exams. Sigh. Two days of relief isn't enough. Today wasn't
very productive for my website. It was however productive for myself resting and getting some things done around here. Not as
efficiently as I hoped, but I got some things done.
Well, time to get some more things done so that I can get some of them out of the way. Will post back up again tomorrow. Right
now, winds are picking up. Earlier today, it was nothing. The hurricane should be mowing across my area later tonight into early
morning. Hopefully, I can chalk up another 10 hours of sleep without being disturbed too much. I also hope power still remains on
and working. Otherwise, tomorrow wouldn't be very productive at all.

Well, I get a free day off tomorrow from college, thanks to mother nature. Hurricane Isabel is to slam into North Carolina and
then mow across Virginia, where I'm at. GMU sure is stubborn to announce when they close. First, they say that they'll announce it at
9AM and/or 12PM tomorrow, when the hurricane is suppose to blow pass us. But then they changed their minds and close school finally,
about 24 hours notice than the wait till the last minute to screw students over who have morning class. Well, time to figure out
what to do with the free day. I just can't figure what to do first. Too many things to do, just little time to do. For sure, I'm
going to get my quality sleep. 10 hours, here I come! Or at least close to it. Well, time to go and watch a movie to kill time. My
brain is just fried right now, don't know what to do other than to stare at some motion pictures instead of thinking and handling
much more prioritized tasks. Time to take my much needed break.
I just hope the power doesn't go out, as I won't get work done tomorrow. A lot of things need to be on for me to do my work. It
shouldn't be that bad. Forecast calls for about 40-50 mph winds in my area.

Waking up very early in the morning isn't fun. Even when waking up early, the abundance of time before leaving for school sure
goes by quick. Anyhow, this is just a minor update since I have a bit of time on my hands. Halo for PC has gone gold and stole the
Half-Life 2 release date of 9/30/03. I'll be looking forward to getting Halo for PC. I already have it for the Xbox. But I'm pretty
sure it's worth getting it for the PC, as there's probably going to be good mods after the game release. As for Half-Life 2, there's
no report of the game going gold, according to Planet Half-Life, so it
looks like Half-Life 2 will miss its claimed release date. Unless something magically happens, to shrink the time to mass produce the
game and distribute it, the game is going to be delayed.
As for the hardware world, me having a Linksys BEFSR41 router and a D-Link DI-614+ router, there are new updates to the firmware,
albeit some time ago. Linksys' 1.45.6 has issues with gaming. So I never tried loading the new firmware. Still staying with the old
1.44.2 that was stable enough for me. As for the D-Link's 2.20 firmware, I tried it, but didn't like it. For some reason, my
reception dropped when going from firmware 2.18 to 2.20. I have downgraded and everything is good now. I'll have to investigate what
settings I've missed with 2.20 and give 2.20 another try.
Well, I must get back to doing homeworks for the time being, and if I have extra time, well, I'll try and maximize the free
time I have on my hands, which is rare.

More than a week has passed. I have nothing much to say for the Internet. I'm busy with school. Very demanding this semester,
considering that I'm taking 8 classes, excluding a couple of classes since they're not required. Very time consuming. It's been more
than a few weeks since school started, and I haven't hammered out how to manage the time throughout the week. It seems that most of
the free time that I have ends up fixing things or trying to complete something that's due sometime later that day. It never stops.
Only rest I get is sleep. Even sleep, I don't get much since school started. Even worse, an exam is already coming up for one of the
classes this week that I need to study. So to sum things up: I'm getting very busy with school work and no time for other things.
This sucks. I better manage my time more wisely. Well, time to go to bed. It's getting late.

It's been two weeks since I last updated my website. Well, college has started about a couple of weeks ago. Been busy
ever since. It's school, work, and that's it. No fun time in between at all. I can barely get any good amount of sleep either. It's
been mostly 6 hours or less. I usually like to sleep close to 10 hours, but school and work makes me have to sacrifice some hours of
sleep. At least I got a good chunk of sleep last night. First time ever that sleep felt so good.
As for my programming project, it just saw a bit of coding a couple of days ago. I've worked on it just a bit, coding this and
that, running into a lot of illegal syntax and so forth. Still learning how to code GUI. Quite difficult I must add. I've updated the
Ultimate Rebates Tracker page to reflect some changes. Seeing how school and work goes, I don't see this
programming project of mine finished any time soon. Barely any time to put into programming. This was what I was afraid of if I can't
get the project done before school started - that it would take even more longer since I have to put school first, then work, then
do whatever I have free time left, which is close to nothing these days. I might be able to squeeze in some more programming by
tonight so that I can get a bit further with my project.
I got a lot more ahead of me to do other than the programming project. Lots of homeworks/projects from school are calling out
my name to get them finished before the due dates. So many things to do, very little time to do them all.
