You will need to power down or reset your cable modem. This is to make the cable modem lose the MAC address that it has locked
onto a network card's MAC address, which may prevent you from getting online. Do so now. After you power down or reset your cable
modem, you should be online. This step is unnecessary if you didn't have the cable modem hooked straight up to a computer.
Congratulations! You are now set to surf the Internet and share the Internet connection with other computers within your
home/office/area.
