- For quick comparison of my Compaq Presario Notebook 17XL260 with 3DMark 2001 results with your system's results, click
here. Note: You must have a 3DMark 2001 result to
compare with.

SP1.
- Netgear FA410TX 10/100 Mb PCMCIA card (16-bit) when set to 100 Mbps full duplex, it can only hit a max throughput of 10 Mbps.
That's sad. It can't even go faster than 10 Mbps. About 1.25 MBps (10 Mbps) throughput at the max.
Quick Review
This is a dinosaur notebook. Don't play any games on this notebook, because it's so obsolete for today's games. This notebook is
just used basically for anything that isn't gaming related.
Status
Operational and used sparingly.

Misc. Stuff/Notes
- Celeron 300A is overclocked to 450 MHz (FSB: 100 MHz) without any core voltage increase.
- Swapfile (virtual memory) is disabled. Out of 320 MB of RAM installed, more than 200 MB of RAM is available after booting
into Windows XP Pro. With that much memory left to run programs, I decided to just disable swapfile. This reduces HDD thrashing and
for storing data on HDD instead of RAM.
- RAM is running as CAS latency 3.
Quick Review
This is a dinosaur desktop computer. Games are non-existence on this computer.
Status
Computer pretty much abandoned, only used for word processing, Internet surfing, etc... by other family members.
