Flu Information

Last year we had free flu shots available several times on the weekends. Because of the financial cutbacks, this will not happen this year.  Instead, we list information below about flu prevention, flu information and places where flu shots may be received.  There maybe a cost.

Daily Scriptural Readings

Many have missed the Readings for the Week in our bulletin recently that lists the daily scriptural verses. Instead of listing them here on the web site, please go to the official Bishop's web site to read the readings.  http://www.usccb.org/nab/today.shtml

Pastoral Council
5 year Plan

Welcome to Holy Spirit Catholic Parish and Our Web Site

Holy Spirit Parish is a diverse Catholic community, consisting of a multi-cultural membership in the Fremont and Tri-City area. We gather in faith to celebrate the great mysteries of the Mass and Sacraments handed down by Jesus Christ. We give thanks to God for the generosity of our parishioners, for their service to one another in the community and for sharing their time, talent and treasure in building the body of Christ.

Renovation / Master Plan

Inorder for the architect (John Goldman, Architects, SF) to design a Master Plan to renovate our church santuary (and in the future, the surrounding areas), a "Program" is needed from Holy Spirit parishioners.  This program is a document created from inputs from the 7 teams listed below.  There are Team Leaders assigned to each Team to coordinate the gathering of information needed to describe each area. Parishioners are encouraged to participate in any of the seven teams.

1.  Facilities and Art & Environment
2.  Worship "A" (Sunday and daily masses)
3.  Worship "B" (other liturgies, weddings, funerals, baptisms & devotions)
4.  Music
5.  Fellowship / Socializing
6. Presentation & other special events
7.  Physical Access

Click to view all the completed Activity Description forms.

The goal of the Teams is to express "What we do now?"  and "What we want to see in the future?"
