The DeSousa House

After spending over 8 years of dreaming and planning, the new DeSousa House Religious Education and Social Activities Center was completed and opened for use.

Bishop Emeritus Bishop John S. Cummins cuts ribbon to officially open the facility on February 8, 2009.  A special Mass of Dedication and Thanksgiving was presided by Bishop John and a prayer and blessing service in front of the building was witnessed by many parishioners during the ribbon cutting.

The DeSousa facility is home of four classrooms for Faith Formation students that seats 36 each. Each classroom has a 50 inch plasma TV for showing video presentations.  On the opposite end of the building is a large four-plex room that can be divided into four separate rooms.  Each section has a 58 inch plasma TV with round semi-permanent tables.  These rooms are used for funeral receptions, meetings rooms and socials activities.
