Education Ministries
The following ministries are open to all parishioners to join.

| Baptismal Teacher | Teachers provide parents and godparents with instructions and baptismal preparations prior to their child's baptism. Classes are held on Thursday prior to the baptism date. Teachering commitment would be about once a month. See "Sacraments" on this web site. |
| Children's Liturgy of the Word | Teachers are needed to present the Sunday Gospel to children during the 9:30 am Sunday Mass. Children are dismissed from mass to study. Classes are for children in Kindergarten through fourth grades. |
| Evenings for the Engaged | Married couples are needed to lead the six weeks marriage preparation program. Each couple will host, in their home, two or three couples that are engaged and preparing for marriage. The leader-couple may lead a group about twice a year. |
| Faith Formation | This organization was formally called CCD. Teachers are needed to teach religion classes to children ... grades 1st grade through High School. Classes are after school and on Saturdays. Deacon Bill Drobick is the Director of Religious Education. |
| Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, RCIA | Those interested in joining the Catholic faith or becoming a Catholic, the RCIA program is the entrance. A person can receive the sacraments of baptism and confirmation or join the community from other religions. Classes meet on Tuesday evenings from September through the Easter Vigil when the candidates receive the sacraments. Catholic sponsors are needed to walk the journey with candidates. | Pre-School | The Pre-School is opened to preschoolers. Chrildren must be at least 3 years old and fully potty trained. The building is located south and behind the Parish Center. Liana Chu Morales is the Pre-School Director. |
| School Board | Members of the School Board are elected positions. The Board evaluates and plans events, policies and school issues that assists the pastor and school principal in running the school. Susan Buchanan is the principal. |
| School Development Program | This program provides an endowlment fund for the school. Gifts and donations are collected in this fund to help subsidize school tuition. An annual brochure is published. Donation to this fund can be directed to Rosey Loiaisiga or Kendee Sigmon at the rectory. |
| School Parent Club | The Parent Club plan and activate fund raising events, such as the Crab Feed, Festival Booth participation, Arts & Crafts Faire and others. |
