Lutheran World Relief

There is a great need for quilts and kits. The response from our congregation was wonderful last year, but we'd like to do even better! If you have never been involved in packing a kit, please consider this activity. The "Be Involved" booklet in the narthex has the instructions. You can choose from four kits. This is a great activity for a family or group of families, youth groups, confirmation groups, and Sunday School classes. The items needed can be picked up on your routine shopping trips around town. Completing a kit can provide a great lesson about compassion and sharing. Completed kits should be placed in the designated basket in the narthex or in the WELCA closet in room 15. Note that bags for the school kits will be available in the room 15 closet.
