Commissioned Projects

  

  •        Item 1 – Comprehensive Lake Upgrade

    Diagnose and resolve current lake issues:  1. lake water level,  2. water quality,  3. excessive plant growth,  4. sediment buildup in common areas  and  5. invasive nuisance species of plants and animals. Our Home Page reports further information regarding the progress of this project.

     

  •       Item 2 – Website Design and Support

    Project Manager – Julie Pec (708) 268-6501    jpec1109@comcast.net

    Create and provide ongoing upgrades to our association's website.

    Coordinate with the President and the Communications Manager regarding new information to be posted on the website.

    Status:  The website has been entirely installed.   Upgrades will continue to be installed,  and the published information will continue to be brought up-to-date.

     

     

  •        Item 3 – Nominations and Elections

    Project Manager – to be named   

    During the 1st quarter of 2006, conduct our association's first nomination and election of our President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer.

    Status: Our current Board of Directors have volunteered to remain as our elected officers.   

    (Project closed effective 1-25-2006).

     

     

  •        Item 4 – Project Fundraising

    Procure monetary support from political channels, corporations, county foundations and local merchants.

    Status: Project is “On Hold” until additional funds become necessary to maintain our lake.

     

     

  •        Item 5 – Membership Communications

    Project Manager – Shane Covelli  (414) 550-5045  scovelli@earthlink.net

    Communicate important current Organizational and Project information via e-mail to members and ensure that this information is posted on our HLCA website by Website Manager.   Also,  coordinate with the Membership Roster Manager regarding current members and their new or changed E-mail IDs.

    Members not using or not having e-mail function may stay informed via  a friend or relative,  or by using our New Carlisle Library computers.   A link to our homepage is posted on their menu.

    Status: Our Membership Communications Network has been installed and is being maintained as required.

     

     

  •        Item 6 – Membership Roster

    Project Manager – Bill Companik  (574) 654-3066 billc@core.com

    Manage the integrity and completeness of our membership roster.   Ensure that new, renewed and not-renewed members are clearly identified on the roster.  

    Coordinate with the Treasurer to ensure that the roster is consistent with the annual fee payment ledger.  Also,  coordinate with the Communications Manager regarding current members and their new or changed E-mail IDs.

    Status:  The roster has been installed and is being maintained as required.

     

      

  •        Item 7 – Environmental Grant Foundations

    Investigate our eligibility for funds from a list of forty (40) subject websites.  Also research other grant possibilities via the internet and from other sources.  The duties of the Grant Foundations Specialist are separate and apart from the grants being pursued by our Executive Officers.

     

 

  •        Item 8 – Special Mailings (U.S. Postal) Project

    Project Manager – Chris Catrambone (630) 243-0100 ccatramb@smurfit.com

    Prepare and mail reports/notices regarding special topics to interest groups.
