Our primary purpose is to provide easy access to early
marriage records and thereby be of greatest assistance to
reseachers in their genealogical efforts.

be as complete and easy to use as we intended, and
would appreciate your
comments.
Our society collects and maintains large databases of early (pre 1900)
marriage records from all fifty states. We are currently processing these records and will
have them on line as soon as they are ready.
We do two things with these records: One, we publish these
records in County Marriage Record Books,
(over 2,000 to date), microfiche and on CDs. NEW!
Two, surname searches of these large computer databases have
been available to individuals since the late-1960s via
the U. S. Postal Service and now e-mail.
We search our marriage indexes of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia,
Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland,
Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio,
South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia records.
The states list links on the
left are to "Buy Now!" pages where
one may purchase marriage index books, fiche or
CDs safely and securely using a major credit card
thru PayPal (PayPal membership is NOT required),
whereas the two letter links at the top of most
pages is to "County Marriage Book Order Forms" in .pdf format, useful
for orders of more than one or two books, CDs or microfiche. The
second set of similar links allows you to navigate between the
"Information Pages" for marriage records of the indicated states. The Order Forms link in the color bar on
the left are to forms in .html format which is designed for web vewing
and may or may not interface well with your printer. Programing for
these pages is more complex than the others. These pages are last to be
updated and are therefore are the least accurate representation of our
current iventory.
