     Philomela Huntington Boardman was born at Norwich, Windsor County, Vermont, on 25 April 1797.¹ She was the daughter of Dr. Nathaniel Boardman and Philanda Huntington.² Philomela Huntington Boardman married at Norwich, Windsor County, Vermont, on 19 December 1821, at age 24, Joseph Hunt, age 25, son of Solomon Huntress and Lucy Burleigh, and sister of his sister Sarah's husband Nathaniel, ceremony performed by Rufus W.
