Joseph Adams.1 He was the son of Eliphalet Dame and Abigail Nutter.1 Joseph Patterson Dame married say 1781, his second cousin (George Huntress and Mary Knott were their great grandparents) Abigail Huntress, daughter of William Huntress and Susanna Downing.2,3,4
      Joseph Patterson Dame was an artisan at Newington, Rockingham County, New Hampshire. He was a soldier in the Revolution enlisting in the First Regiment of Militia, serving under Maj. William Scott, at age 18, height 5 ft 6 in, light complexion from Newington on 27 June 1780 discharged 5 Dec 1780.5 Joseph Dame was listed as the head of a family on the 1790 Census at Newington, Rockingham County, New Hampshire. Joseph Adams.1 She was the daughter of Eliphalet Dame and Abigail Nutter.1 Sarah Dame (of Portsmouth) married at Portsmouth, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, on 2 September 1784, at age 31, her second cousin (both descendants of George Huntress and Mary Natt) Seth Huntress, age 25, of Newington, son of Jonathan Huntress and Mary Walker, ceremony performed by Joseph Buckminster, clergyman.3 Sarah Dame died circa 3 June 1825.4 Her funeral was held on 6 June 1825.5,6
     She resided at Newington, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, in 1784.3
