She worked for ten years for Northland Shoe Company, and was also co-owner of Mainly Automotive in Fryeburg. She was a former member of the Fryeburg Fire Department Auxiliary. She enjoyed hunting, and racing and street rods.
Her family includes her husband of 34 years, Lee C. Day; a son, Corey Day; and a daughter, Kelly Day, all of Fryeburg; a brother, Ronald Huntress of Pawtucket, R.I.; two sisters, Jean Burnell of East Conway and Roberta Huntress of Fryeburg.
