Simpson.¹ Bonnie E Evenson died at a local convalescent home, Bartlesville, Washington County, Oklahoma, on 12 March 2000 at age 86.^1,2
     She resided at Bartlesville, Washington County, Oklahoma, in 1922.⁴ She attended Bartlesville Jr. College from 1931-1932. During the depression era she served as personal secretary to Jane Phillips and Mr. Fred Price and Mr. D.J. Proudfoot, as well as working on the Philnews paper, while supporting her family. In 1946-1949, Mr. Huntress was Assistant and City Manager of Bartlesville. In 1950, they moved to Kansas City, where Mrs. Huntress was associated with the Village United Presbyterian Church, serving under Reverend Dick Athey for many years. She also worked for several other companies including the Great West Life Insurance Company and Mr. Earl Russell of Kansas City. Mr. Huntress retired in 1980, at which time he and his wife returned to Bartlesville to live in retirement. Mrs. Huntress then donated secretarial service to the First Presbyterian Church of Bartlesville, of which she was a member.¹
