     Nicolas Frost was born say 1672. He was the son of Nicolas Frost and Mary Small.2,1 Nicolas Frost married, first, before 19 September 1708, Dorothy Mendum, daughter of Jonathan Mendum and Mary (--?--).1,3 Nicolas Frost married as his second wife at Portsmouth, New Hampshire, on 30 December 1714, Sarah Morrell, of Portsmouth, mariner, daughter of John Morrill and Sarah Hodsdon.4,5,6,7 Nicolas Frost died in 1718.1,8
      Nicolas Frost was a sailor.9 As Portsmouth was a more convenient residence than Kittery, he sold his Crooked Lane property to Diamond Sargent, and purchased there, 10 December 1707, a house from George Vaughan.1,8 Administration on his estate was granted on 4 June 1718 to his widow Sarah Frost.10
