He also worked for several years for his uncle, Calvin Lewis, at New Hope Excavating. Many remember him as he plowed snow in the winter for many area families.
     
He was a former member of the Hiram Fire Department. He loved motorcycles and especially loved riding his Harley Davidson. Among his other hobbies included numerous outdoor activities including camping. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and all those that he loved.¹
