     Thomas Harrison was born at Sheffield, New Brunswick, Canada, on 24 October 1839. He was the son of Thomas Harrison and Elizabeth Coburn. Thomas Harrison married as his second wife on 18 September 1895, at age 55, Ida Gertrude Whittier, age 44, of Fredericton, N.B., professor, 1870-85, and chancellor, 1885-1906, of the University of New Brunswick, B.A., and LL.B. (Trin. Coll., Dublin, 1864), A.M. (Dublin, 1873), LL.D. (Dublin 1889), daughter of Samuel Hall Locke Whittier and Jemima Huntress.1,2 Thomas Harrison died on 18 September 1906 at age 66.
     He resided at Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. He received a B.A. and LL.B. degree from Trinity College, at Dublin, Ireland, in 1864. Thomas was a professor employed by University of New Brunswick between 1870 and 1885.
