     Benjamin Hoyt was born at Hubbardston, Worcester County, Massachusetts, on 11 December 1761.1,2 He was the son of Benjamin Hoyt and Eunice Ray.1 Benjamin Hoyt married in 1788, Lydia Joslyn, daughter of Benjamin Joslyn.2 Benjamin Hoyt died at Craftsbury, Orleans County, Vermont, on 29 October 1843 at age 81.2

     Benjamin Hoyt was born on 7 June 1702.1 He was the son of Ephraim Hoyt and Hannah Godfrey.1 Benjamin Hoyt married, first, at Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts, on 11 November 1726, at age 24, Katherine Baker.2 Benjamin Hoyt married, second, circa 1739, Widow Joanna Battin.3 Benjamin Hoyt married, third, circa 1752, Susanna (--?--).3 Benjamin Hoyt died at Shrewsbury, Worcester County, Massachusetts, before May 1760.1
      Benjamin Hoyt was a blacksmith and husbandman.3 He resided at Ipswich, Essex County, Massachusetts, between 1727 and 1729.1
