Huntress married, first, at Dover, Strafford County, New Hampshire, on 7 November 1861, at age 20, Priv. Lorenzo F. Connor, age 25, son of Asa Connor and Ester R. Farrington, ceremony performed by Rev. Edwin Wheelock.5,1,6 Amanda J. Huntress married, second as his second wife, on 26 September 1866, at age 25, Ira N. Colby, age 35, son of Barnard S. Colby and Deborah Dowlin.1 Amanda J. Huntress died on 27 January 1921 at age 79.
      On 5 November 1863, Amanda, widow of Lorenzo F. Connor, who served in Company E of the 7th New Hampshire Inf., filed for a Civil War widows pension.7 Amanda J. Huntress resided as a widow with her son George Bernard and family at Boscawen, Merrimack County, New Hampshire, in 1920.8

     Amanda May Huntress was born at Washington, Washington County, District of Columbia, on 2 January 1887.2,3,4 She was the daughter of William Fulton Huntress and Charlotte May Whitehouse.3 Amanda May Huntress died on 16 June 1967 at age 80.2 Funeral services for Amanda May Huntress were held at Washington, Washington County, District of Columbia, on 19 June 1967 conducted by Rev. James Haskins, pastor of the Mount Oak Methodist Church in Mitchellville.2

     Amasa Huntress was born at Stetson, Penobscot County, Maine, on 21 October 1808.1 He was the son of Timothy Huntress and Polly Simmons. Amasa Huntress married, by Rev. William Jenks, D.D., at Congregational Church of Christ, Green St, Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, on 23 December 1838, at age 30, Clarissa Davis, age 26, daughter of John Davis and Mary (--?--).2,3 Amasa Huntress died on 11 January 1883 at age 74. He was buried at Sunset Cemetery, Manhattan, Riley County, Kansas.

     Andrew Huntress was born at Shapleigh, York County, Maine, say October 1790.1,2,3,4,5 He was the son of Ichabod Huntress and Mary Wadleigh. Andrew Huntress married at Seekonk, Bristol County, Massachusetts, on 5 July 1819, Elizabeth Dickinson, age 24, of Seekonk, daughter of Charles Dickinson and Mary Slocum.6,7 Andrew Huntress died on 20 December 1859.4 He was buried at Mineral Springs Cemetery, Pawtucket, Providence County, Rhode Island.4
      The Rhode Island Genealogical Register reports that "Andrew went to sea as a ship's carpenter. He was shipwrecked three times, and the last time was brought ashore at Bristol, RI where he met his (future) wife. ... Before his marriage he served as a seaman in the War of 1812."8 He resided at Bristol, Bristol County, Rhode Island, in 1820.9 Andrew Huntress was listed as the head of a family on the 1820 Census at Bristol, Bristol County, Rhode Island.      Andrew Whitehouse Huntress Jr. was born at Washington, Washington County, District of Columbia, on 5 October 1929.1,2,3,4,5 He was the son of Andrew Whitehouse Huntress Sr. and Anna Lynn Geiman.1 Andrew Whitehouse Huntress Jr. died at National Lutheran Home for the Aged, 9701 Veirs Drive, Rockville, Montgomery County, Maryland, on 1 October 2005 at age 75.1,6,4 He funeral was held at National Lutheran Home for the Aged, 9701 Veirs Drive, Rockville, Montgomery County, Maryland, on 6 October 2005.1
     Hea member of the Emmanuel Lutheran Church and the American Legion.1 Andrew Whitehouse Huntress Jr. was an engineer for more than 20 years with the National Aeronautics Space Administration.1 Although his life was lived away from Maine, he had a great love for it and fond connections with family.1 He was a soldier in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.1 He graduated from from Virginia Polytechnic Institute at Blacksburg, Montgomery County, Virginia, in 1951.7 He resided at 9701 Viers Drive, Rockville, Montgomery County, Maryland, on 1 October 2005.1

Angelia S Huntress married at Portland, Cumberland County, Maine, on 16 August 1853, at age 25, Isaac Farrar Jr..3,2 Angelia S Huntress died of Diabetus Mellitus at Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, on 3 August 1917 at age 89 years, 2 months and 18 days.4 She was buried at Pine Hill Cemetery, Dover, Strafford County, New Hampshire, on 6 August 1917.5,4
     Her will dated 22 March 1902, proved 4 Sep 1917, mentions her daughter Jettie Rogers and her grandson John E. Richardson.6

Joseph Huntress and Sarah Stiles.1 Angeline Huntress married (int. 30 Nov 1854) at Shapleigh, York County, Maine, on 1 December 1854, at age 20, Jacob Perkins Wadleigh, age 16, (both) of Shapleigh, son of Eli Wadleigh and Elizabeth (--?--).4 Angeline Huntress died on 21 July 1914 at age 79.
     She and Jacob Perkins Wadleigh resided at Malden, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, in 1884.1
