WINDHAM - A Bridgton man died Saturday after his car crossed Route 302's center line and collided with two other vehicles, police said. David Huntress, 45, was driving east near the Raymond town line around 10:30 a.m. when his 1995 Chrysler Cirrus crossed into the westbound lane, according to Sgt. Ronald Ramsdell of the Windham Police Department.

Huntress' car was sideswiped by a 1998 Ford Explorer, and the impact turned the Cirrus into the path of a 2000 Chevrolet Suburban, Ramsdell said. The Suburban struck the Cirrus on the passenger side, and Huntress died at the scene, police said.

Two other injuries were reported. Michelle Tyler, of North Hampton, N.H., who was a passenger in the Suburban, was treated at Maine Medical Center in Portland and released. A passenger in the Explorer, Jeffrey Cabral, 15, of Fall River, Mass., reported a leg injury but was not hospitalized.

Police said their investigation is continuing and did not speculate on the accident's cause. He had a mailing address at Po Box 162, Bridgton, Cumberland County, Maine.2 He resided at Bridgton, Cumberland County, Maine, circa 2003.1
