     Enid Staples Huntress was born at Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts, on 21 July 1891.3 She was the daughter of Charles Watts Huntress and Catharine Porter Davis.3,2 Enid Staples Huntress died of convulsions due to acute anterior polimyslitis at 23 Center Street, Danvers, Essex County, Massachusetts, on 15 October 1909 at age 18.2 She was buried at Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts, on 17 October 1909.2

     Enoch Huntress was baptized at Church of Newington, Newington, New Hampshire, on 3 November 1747 by Rev. Joseph Adams.1 He was the son of Jonathan Huntress and Mary Walker.1 Enoch Huntress (of Rye) married at Greenland, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, on 19 April 1770, at age 22, Deborah Nutter, age 19, daughter of Samuel Nutter and Mary Downing.2,3 Enoch Huntress died at Strafford, Strafford County, New Hampshire, on 6 March 1821 at age 73.4
     He resided at Rye, New Hampshire.2 He was taxed at Portsmouth, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, in 1767. He owned the Covenant at Church of Newington, Newington, New Hampshire, on 23 December 1770.5 He took the Association Test at Portsmouth, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, in 1776.6 Enoch Huntress was a yeoman at Barrington, Strafford County, New Hampshire, in 1777.2 In 1777 Enoch Huntress and Deborah his wife conveyed her right in the estate of Samuel Nutter, deceased, father of Deborah and he bought 42 acres at Barrington, lot 148 in the fourth range.7,8,2 Enoch Huntress was a soldier in the Revolution as a private in Capt. John Dennett's 7th Company 3rd New Hampshire Regiment on 11 March 1777 discharged 11 mar 1780.9 Enoch Huntress was listed as the head of a family on the 1790 Census at Barrington, Strafford County, New Hampshire. In his family were one male over 16 years of age (Enoch and George), two under (Enoch and unk), and two females (Deborah and unk).10

     Enoch Huntress was born say 1776.2,3 He was the son of Enoch Huntress and Deborah Nutter.1 Enoch Huntress married at Salisbury, Essex County, Massachusetts, on 17 October 1811, Abigail Follansbee, daughter of Daniel Follansbee and Dorothy Follansbee.4 Enoch Huntress died at Strafford, Strafford County, New Hampshire, on 20 December 1831.5 He was buried at Strafford, Strafford County, New Hampshire, on 22 December 1831.5

     Erastus Huntress was born at Hiram, Oxford County, Maine, on 16 September 1832.1 He was the son of Temple Huntress and Eunice Goodwin.1 Erastus Huntress died (of wounds) on 20 June 1864 at age 31.2,1
      Erastus Huntress was a farmer at Mount Chase Plantation, Penobscot County, Maine. He was a soldier in the Civil War (Co G, 17th Me Vol. Inf.) He enlisted in Dayton Plantation, Aroostook County, Maine as a substitute for bachelor H. Huston.1,3 Erastus Huntress mustered at Maine in the Civil War in Company G, 17th Maine Infantry, inducted as a Private, discharged as a Private.4 He, age 30, enlisted in the Civil War on 2 September 1863.5 He was drafted into Company G 17th Maine Inf. as a private on 2 September 1863.5 On 10 September 1866, Eunice, mother of Erastus Huntress, who served in Company G of the 17th Maine Infantry, filed for a Civil War pension.3
