     Frank B Huntress was born at Sandwich, Carroll County, New Hampshire, on 18 December 1828.4,5,6,2 He was the son of Capt. Mark Huntress and Esther Clement.3 Frank B Huntress married at Moultonborough, Carroll County, New Hampshire, on 6 October 1861, at age 32, Frances Lucinda Hartford, daughter of John Hartford and Hannah Hammond, ceremony performed by Joseph H. Watson, of Moultonborough, N.H., Justice of the Peace.6 Frank B Huntress died s.p. Of Apoplexy at West Thornton, Grafton County, New Hampshire, on 15 February 1890 at age 61.5,2
     He resided at Sandwich, Carroll County, New Hampshire, on 6 October 1861.6 He was a soldier in the Civil War (Company G, 1st New Hampshire Heavy Artillery).5,7 He, age 35, enlisted in the Civil War on 31 August 1864, credited to Laconia.5 He mustered into Company G, 1st New Hampshire Heavy Artillery as a Private on 6 September 1864.5 He was appointed artificer on 6 September 1864.5 He mustered out on 15 June 1865.5 On 30 November 1885 Frank B. Huntress applied for a Civil War invalid pension for service in Company G of the 1st N.H. Heavy Artillery.7 Administration on his estate states that he left no widow nor children.8 On 19 November 1895 at Belknap County, New Hampshire Frank Huntress signed as a witness an appeal to the 49th U.S. Congress, 1st Session to increase the pension for John P. Davis.9

     Fred Chesley Huntress was born at Portsmouth, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, on 26 October 1876.2,3,4,1 He was the son of Lewis Henry Huntress and Athena Lydia Hatch.3,1 Fred Chesley Huntress (of Portsmouth, N.H.) married at Portsmouth, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, on 10 March 1901, at age 24, Violet Elaine C Norton, age 21, of Concord, N.H., daughter of Royal E Norton and Rachel E Pearsons, ceremony performed by Charles C. V. Brine, of Portsmouth, N.H., Clergyman.4,1,5 Fred Chesley Huntress died in 1948 (unconfirmed).
     He and Fred H Huntress were possibly relatives (self). Fred Huntress and John S. Tilton, Jr., formerly of this city, are now engaged in the advertising business in Boston.6 Fred Chesley Huntress was described as tall and medium build with blue eyes and brown hair on 12 September 1918.2 He was a shipper employed by J.
