     Hibbard Huntress was baptized at Church of Newington, Newington, New Hampshire, on 13 December 1724 by Rev. Joseph Adams.1 He was the son of John Huntress and Mary (--?--).1 Hibbard Huntress died after 1758.
     He resided at Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Hibbard was a mariner. He is not in the census of 1790. In 1753 an attachment issued Hibbard Huntress of Portsmouth, mariner, for rent of a room there.2

John Huntress and Hannah Maria Wright.4 Hulda Louisa Huntress married, first, at Bexar County, Texas, on 4 July 1862, at age 17, Albert Webster.2 Hulda Louisa Huntress married, second, at Wilson, Texas, on 2 May 1865, at age 20, William Henry Harrison Spain, age 24.10 Hulda Louisa Huntress married, third, circa 1905, Bluford F. England.11,12,3 Hulda Louisa Huntress died in 1926.
     Hulda H. Spain, 54, born Nov 1845 in LA, father ?, mother NY, read no, write no, mother-in-law was listed on the 1900 Census at Township 7 S, Range 6 W, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory, living with the Richard T.      Huldah P Huntress was born at New York circa 1844. There is no direct evidence linking Huldah to Elijah, but his family was the only one having children in up state New York at the time, Huldah's son was named Elijah, Huldah may have been named after her mother's sister, and in 1900 their daughter Anna was living in Parishville, where her grandfather, Elijah, was living in 1870.1,2 She was the daughter of Elijah Saben Huntress and Elmira Hadlock. Huldah P Huntress married circa 1859, John W Chismore.3 Huldah P Huntress died between 21 June 1880 and 1 June 1900.

     Ichabod Huntress was born at Berwick, York County, Maine, on 4 October 1764.3,4 He was the son of Darling Huntress and Love Hearl.1 Ichabod Huntress married at First Church, South Berwick, York County, Maine, on 25 January 1787, at age 22, Mary Wadleigh, daughter of John Wadleigh and Elizabeth (--?--), and sister of his brother Robert's wife Hannah and sister of his sister Abigail's husband John, ceremony performed by Rev. John Thompson.5,6,7,8,9,10,2 Ichabod Huntress died on 11 September 1819 at age 54.11,8,12
      Their children were born at Shapleigh, Me.8,13 Ichabod Huntress was a yeoman at Shapleigh, York County, Maine, in 1790.8 Ichabod "Huntrus" was listed as the head of a family on the 1790 Census at Shapleigh, York County, Maine. In his family were one male over 16 years of age (Ichabod), one under (unk), and two females (Mary and Abigail).14 Ichabod Huntress was listed as the head of a family on the 1800 Census at Shapleigh, York County, Maine. In his family were two males under 10 (Andrew and Nathaniel), one between 10 and 16 (Mark), one between 26 and 45 (Ichabod), three females under 10 (Agnes, Abigail, 13, and unk), and one between 26 and 45 (Mary).15 He in behalf of his wife Mary consented to the probate of the will of John Wadleigh of Berwick, dated on 23 November 1809, proved 13 Feb. 1815, which mentions his wife Elizabeth and daughters Mary Hunt (sic) and Hannah Hunt (sic).16,8 Ichabod Huntress was listed as the head of a family on the 1810 Census at Shapleigh, York County, Maine. In his family were one male less than 10 years of age (Joseph), two between 16 and 26 (Nathaniel and Mark or Andrew), one 45 and over (Ichabod), one female less than 10 years of age (Mary), one between 10 and 16 (unk), one between 16 and 26 (Agnes), and one 45 and over (Mary). Either Nathaniel, Mark or Andrew was not enumerated..17

Hall.2,3 Ida E Huntress married at Haverhill, Essex County, Massachusetts, on 5 September 1885, at age 18, Albion D Wilson, age 24, son of Lorenzo W. Wilson and Alvira Bray.8,4,6,7 Ida E Huntress died after 7 April 1930.
      Ida's mother died when she was only 5 months old. It appears that she was thereafter raised by her grand parents John D. Hall and Martha M. Dixon. Ida was listed on the 1880 Census at 374 Manchester Street, Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, living with Hall.9

     Ida Elizabeth Huntress was born at Tamworth, Carroll County, New Hampshire, on 11 July 1850.10,4,1,9,5,6,7,11,3 She was the daughter of Dr. Joseph Huntress and Orra Anna Sargent.8,9 Ida Elizabeth Huntress married at Lawrence, Essex County, Massachusetts, on 18 September 1866, at age 16, Joseph T Waite, age 21, son of Thomas Waite and Caroline Strawbridge, ceremony performed by Rev. Georoge P. Wilson, Methodist Clergyman.9,6,7 Ida Elizabeth Huntress died at Kittery, York County, Maine, on 6 January 1918 at age 67.
     She resided at Lawrence, Essex County, Massachusetts, on 18 September 1866.9 Ida Elizabeth Huntress was a cotton mill worker at Lawrence, Essex County, Massachusetts, on 17 June 1870.4,1 She and Joseph T Waite resided at Rogers Road, Kittery, York County, Maine, on 24 October 1911.12 Miss Mabel Huntress of Lawrence, Mass., is the guest of her aunt, Mrs. Joseph T. Waite, Rogers road.13

     Ida F. Huntress was born (twin) at Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, on 2 November 1851.3,2 She was the daughter of Seth William Huntress and Catherine H Palmer.2 Ida F. Huntress died on 6 December 1856 at age 5 years, 1 month and 4 days.4

     Ida Floretta Huntress was born at Farmington, Strafford County, New Hampshire, on 12 February 1882.2,1 She was the daughter of Dr. Eugene Seth Huntress and Flora Belle Pinkham.1 Ida Floretta Huntress married, first, at Ohio, Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, Canada, on 12 September 1904, at age 22, George Ryerson Moses, age 25, son of James Howard Moses and Lucy Redding, ceremony performed by Rev. J. H. Saunders.3,4,5 Ida Floretta Huntress married, second, on 14 August 1918, at age 36, Frederick Clarence Booth, age 41, son of Horatio Nelson Slater Booth and Henrietta Margaret Clarner.6 Ida Floretta Huntress died at Lynn, Essex County, Massachusetts, on 24 February 1962 at age 80.
     She graduated from the schools of Farmington, N. H.2 She and Frederick Clarence Booth resided at 15 Sheridan Road, Swampscott, Essex County, Massachusetts, on 12 September 1918.7
