Mrs. Robins was a graduate of Classical High School in Lynn, MA; and received a degree in Social Work from Simmons College in Boston, MA in 1935. She has resided in Niantic since 1949, and has been a summer resident of Wolfeboro, NH since 1946. She was a member of the Flanders Baptist and Community Church. She was a past president of the Zonta Club of New London. She was a member of the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, volunteering at the Monte Cristo Cottage.      Mark Huntress was born at Newington, New Hampshire, circa 1766.2,1 He was the son of Noah Huntress and Abigail Pickering.1 Mark Huntress married say 1788, Temperance Patteson Ayres.3 Mark Huntress died after 1820.
      Their children, the first one born at Newington, the last one and perhaps all the others at Rochester, all baptized at Rochester 20 Feb. 1799.4,5 He resided at Newington, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, in 1790.6 Mark Huntress was listed as the head of a family on the 1790 Census at Newington, Rockingham County, New Hampshire.      Capt. Mark Huntress was born at Rochester, Strafford County, New Hampshire, on 25 March 1801.7 He was the son of Mark Huntress and Temperance Patteson Ayres. Capt. Mark Huntress married at Moultonboro, Carroll County, New Hampshire, on 17 February 1825, at age 23, Esther Clement, age 28, daughter of Joseph Clement and Ruth Lee, ceremony performed by Rev. Jeremiah Shaw, of Moultonboro, clergyman.8,2,9,10,11 Capt. Mark Huntress died of an accident at Sandwich, Carroll County, New Hampshire, on 3 February 1861 at age 59.7 He was buried at Lee Cemetery, Moultonborough, Carroll County, New Hampshire.12

Martin Henry Huntress died of canker at Mt. Pleasant, Weymouth, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, on 9 April 1854 at age 6 months.2

     Marvin Huntress died in 1944.1 He was buried at the Huntress Family Cemetery, Back Road, Shapleigh, York County, Maine. He was stillborn in 1944.1,2 He was the son of Carl Otis Huntress and Carlotta Maude Dunn.1

     Marvin Wilbur Huntress was born at Shapleigh, York County, Maine, on 6 September 1921.1,2 He was the son of Charles Otis Huntress and Alma Frances Bennett.1 Marvin Wilbur Huntress died at Shapleigh, York County, Maine, on 14 December 1938 of an accident from a saw blade on a saw rig when the blade came off and hit him across the neck and shoulder and died a few hours after that at age 17.2
