     Mary Judith Huntress was born at New Ipswich, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, on 4 August 1854.4 She was the daughter of John Sargent Huntress and Mary Anna Gordon.2,3,1 Mary Judith Huntress married on 1 January 1876, at age 21, Joseph Howard Lowe, age 34, son of Joseph Lowe and Mehitable G. Carr, ceremony performed by Seneca M. Keeler, Pastor of 2nd Congregation Church, West Newbury.5 Mary Judith Huntress died of malignant disease of liver at West Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts, on 7 October 1904 at age 50.1 She was buried at Bridge Street Cemetery, West Newbury, Essex County, Massachusetts, on 9 October 1904.1

     Merwyn Osborn Huntress was born at Springfield, Greene County, Missouri, on 12 May 1903.4,3,5,6,7 He was the son of Carl Washburn Huntress and Cora M. Simpson.3 Merwyn Osborn Huntress married on 10 May 1924, at age 20, Hazel Bennett, age 23, daughter of Albert W. Bennett and Victoria Waks.3,8,7 Merwyn Osborn Huntress died probably at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, on 6 August 1983 at age 80.4,7
      Merwyn Osborn Huntress was a department manager of dry goods business at Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma.3 He moved to Oklahoma in 1923. At his retirement, he was executive Vice President of Allied Materials Corp., Oklahoma City. During WWII he served as Chief Price Specialist Oklahoma state office OPA. He was member of Advisory Council Division of OPS during the Korean conflict. He served on the Asphalt Institute board 21 years and as chairman, one year. He served as president of the Oklahoma Petroleum Refiners Assoc., Oklahoma City Sales Executive Club and National Joint Sealers Manufacturing Assoc. He had been president of Twin Hills Golf and Country Club. He joined Lions International in 1944 and was a member of the Oklahoma City Downtown Club. After his retirement, he transferred to the Laguna Hills club in California where he served as a District Governor and received the Lion of the Year Award and the International President's Medal for Excellence. As a life member of Lions International, he had a strong interest in the support of individuals with hearing disabilities. He was President of the Western Ear Foundation in California. He was working with the Oklahoma Lions clubs in support of the Baptist Medical Center Hearing Foundation in Oklahoma City.7 He resided at 1444 West 28th Street, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma, in 1925.9
