     Nathaniel Huntress was born at Shapleigh, York County, Maine, on 12 September 1793.1 He was the son of Ichabod Huntress and Mary Wadleigh. Nathaniel Huntress married, first, on 19 July 1817, at age 23, Martha Wentworth, daughter of Reuben Wentworth and Eleanor James. Nathaniel Huntress married, second, at Seekonk, Bristol County, Massachusetts, on 24 January 1829, at age 35, Anna M. Dickinson, age 28, (both) of Seekonk, daughter of Charles Dickinson and Mary Slocum.2 Nathaniel Huntress died at North Attleboro, Bristol County, Massachusetts, on 12 September 1872 of old age at age 79.3
     He resided until his second marriage in 1829 at Shapleigh, York County, Maine. Nathaniel Huntress was a yeoman at Seekonk, Bristol County, Massachusetts. Nathaniel "Huntriss" was listed as the head of a family on the 1820 Census at Shapleigh, York County, Maine. In his family were one male under 10 (unk), one between 26 and 45 (Nathaniel, employed in agriculture), and one female between 26 and 45 (Martha, 21).4 Nathaniel Huntress was listed as the head of a family on the 1830 Census at Attleborough, Bristol County, Massachusetts.      She and Albert Benjamin De Haven resided at 3 Prescott Street, Sanford, York County, Maine, on 5 June 1917.9

     Noah Huntress was baptized at Church of Newington, Newington, New Hampshire, on 20 February 1742/43 by Rev. Joseph Adams.2,3 He was the son of Lieut. Christopher Huntress and Mary Chick.1 Noah Huntress married at South Church, Portsmouth, New Hampshire, on 25 December 1760, at age 17, Abigail Pickering, daughter of John Pickering and Mary Nutter, ceremony performed by Rev. Samuel Haven.4,5 Noah Huntress died at Centre Harbour, Strafford County, New Hampshire, circa 1807.6
      In 1775 Noah4 Huntress bought 30 acres at Barnstead.6,7 He was a soldier in the Revolution on 18 September 1777 in Capt. Rawlins' Company.8 Noah Huntress was listed as the head of a family on the 1790 Census at Newington, Rockingham County, New Hampshire. In his family were two males over 16 years of age (Nathaniel and Noah), two under (James and Noah), and five females (Abigail, Sarah, Abigail, Mary and Deborah).9 Noah Huntress was a husbandman at Centre Harbour, Strafford County, New Hampshire, in 1797.6 Noah Huntress was listed as the head of a family on the 1800 Census at Centre Harbour, Strafford County, New Hampshire. In his family were one male less than 10 years of age (John Pickering), two between 16 and 26 (Noah and James), one 45 and over (Noah), one female between 16 and 26 (Sarah or Mary), and one 45 and over (Abigail).10 Administration on the estate of Noah4 Huntress of Centre Harbour was granted 7 June 1807 to Noah5 Huntress of Centre Harbour, husbandman, Abigail Huntress widow, Joseph Kenny of Centre Harbour and John Towle of Meredith, sureties.6,11

     Noah Huntress was born at Newington, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, on 1 February 1778.2,3 He was the son of Noah Huntress and Abigail Pickering.1 Noah Huntress married, first, probably circa 1784, Mary (--?--). Noah Huntress married, second, before 1816, Olive Hill, daughter of Andrew Hill.4 Noah Huntress died on 3 March 1821 at age 43.3 He was buried at Smith Meeting House Cemetery, Gilmanton, Belknap County, New Hampshire.3
     He resided at Newington, Rockingham County, New Hampshire. Noah was a husbandman at Centre Harbour, Belknap County, New Hampshire, in 1797. On 9 December 1797 Noah Huntress and [WF] his wife of Newington conveyed his farm there to Nicholas Pickering. His name does not again appear in Rockingham Deeds. In 1816 he and wife Olive conveyed lands at Centre Harbor which he bought in 1797.5
Noah Huntress was listed as the head of a family on the 1810 Census at Centre Harbour, Strafford County, New Hampshire. In his family were one male under 10 years of age (unk), one between 26 and 45 (Noah), two females under 10 (Caroline), and one between 26 and 45 (Mary).6

     Olive Huntress was born at Shapleigh, York County, Maine, on 28 September 1807. She was the daughter of Maj. Darling Huntress Esq. and Dorothy Cousins. Olive Huntress married on 4 July 1831, at age 23, Paul Garvin, age 23, (both) of Shapleigh, son of Capt. Paul Garvin and Elizabeth Hodgdon, ceremony performed by Henry Smith.1 Olive Huntress died on 10 February 1884 at age 76.
      Documentation of their children, born at Shapleigh, Me, is their family record in possession, 1920, of Frances H., widow of Lorenzo Paul(8) Webber, of Springvale, Me.

     Olive Huntress was born at Newington, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, on 7 January 1785 (calculated from age at death).2,1,3,4,5,6 She was the daughter of Seth Huntress and Sarah Dame.2 Olive Huntress married at Hampton, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, on 16 May 1807, at age 22, William Rundlett, age 24, (both) of Portsmouth.1
Olive Huntress died of lung fever (pneumonia) at Portsmouth, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, on 6 February 1860 at age 75.7,8
