     Willard L Huntress was born at Centre Harbour, Strafford County, New Hampshire, in August 1814.5,6,7,8,9,10,4 He was the son of John Pickering Huntress and Mary Kimball. Willard L Huntress married, first, at Lowell, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, on 11 May 1839, at age 24, Mary Jane Reynolds, daughter of William Reynolds and Lydia Davis.11 Willard L Huntress married, secondly, at Meredith, Belknap County, New Hampshire, on 11 November 1855, at age 41, Melissa Tuttle, age 23, (both) of Center Harbor, daughter of John A. Tuttle and Elizabeth Brown, and widow of McCrillis, ceremony performed by Almon Benson.3 Willard L Huntress died at Meredith, Belknap County, New Hampshire, on 24 August 1864.6 He was buried at Davis Cemetery, Center Harbor, Belknap County, New Hampshire.

     William Huntress was born at Newington, New Hampshire, circa 1713.2 He was the son of Samuel Huntress and Abigail Ham.1 William Huntress married at Church of Newington, Newington, New Hampshire, on 15 March 1747, Susanna Downing, age 19, daughter of Joshua Downing and Susanna Dennett, ceremony performed by Rev. Joseph Adams.3,4 William Huntress died in 1785.5
      William Huntress was a yeoman at Newington, New Hampshire.5 He was admitted to Full Communion at Church of Newington, Newington, New Hampshire, on 22 April 1744.6 He had by his father's will two-thirds of the 40-acre farm at Newington.5 He took the Association Test at Newington, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, in 1776.7 Administration on his estate was granted on 10 January 1786 to Susanna Huntress, widow, of Newington, Stephen Jones Thomas, and George Coolbroth, both of Newington, sureties.8,5

     William Huntress was born at Newington, New Hampshire, circa 1752. He was the son of Samuel Huntress and Mary Coleman. William Huntress died after 1785.
     Unless he was son of Samuel he is unaccounted for. He did not give a deed as son of William3 No further record of him has been found except that 1785 he petitioned at Rochester for paper money.1,2 He resided at Rochester, Strafford County, New Hampshire, in 1785.2

William Huntress married at Second Church, Berwick, York County, Maine, on 2 October 1788, at age 22, Elizabeth Rhoda Warren, daughter of James Warren and Elizabeth Hasty, and sister of his sister Keziah's husband Aaron, and sister of his brother Darling's wife Mary, and sister of his cousin George's wife Jane, ceremony performed by Rev. Matthew Merriam.3,4,5,6,7,8 William Huntress died on 13 August 1844 at age 77.9
      William Huntress was a bricklayer and cabinet maker.9 William "Huntrus" was listed as the head of a family on the 1790 Census at Berwick, York County, Maine. In his family were one male over 16 years of age (William), one under (Caleb), and one female (Elizabeth).10 He resided at Waterborough, York County, Maine, in 1791. William William Huntress was listed as the head of a family on the 1800 Census at Waterborough, York County, Maine. In his family were three males under 10 (Robert, Aaron Warren and Hosea Hasty), one 26-45 (William), three females under 10 (Rhoda, Rebecca and unk), and one 26-45 (Elizabeth Rhoda). Caleb was not enumerated.11 William Huntress was listed as the head of a family on the 1810 Census at Waterborough, York County, Maine.      William B[utler] Huntress was born at Dover, Strafford County, New Hampshire, on 1 September 1834.4,1,2,5,3,6 He was the son of William Walker Huntress and Dorothy Butler.3 William B[utler] Huntress married at Jersey City, Hudson County, New Jersey, on 12 June 1866, at age 31, Cornelia Robbins, daughter of Betsey (--?--).7 William B[utler] Huntress died at New York City, New York County, New York, on 5 February 1888 at age 53. He was found lying between the tracks of the New York and Northern and the New York City Railroad, near Fordham landing station.8,9

     He and William Huntress were possibly relatives.
