Richard Lord, of Berwick, deceased, joined in marriage with Mary Goodwin (the now wife of Mr. John Cooper, Jr., of the same Berwick), & the said Richd Lord Jr. & Mary Goodwin lived together, as man & wife. 5 or 6 years & had three children: 2 sons & one daughter. The 2 son are dead, & the daughter, Olive, the youngest of the three, is now the wife of Jona. Abbott, Jr., of Berwick.

    S'd Thomas Goodwin was a near neighbor to Capt. Richard Lord and knew Richd Lord, Jr., all his life. His 2 sons died young.

    Elizabeth Gray testified to the truth of above, adding that the oldest son of Richd Lord, Jr., & Mary Goodwin was Daniel, and the second son was Richard. Both died young & unmarried."

     Eliza Lord was born at South Hiram, Oxford County, Maine, on 2 May 1828.1 She was the daughter of Jacob Lord and Frances Huntress.1 Eliza Lord died on 5 November 1846 at age 18.1 She was buried at Cornish Cemetery, Hiram, Oxford County, Maine.2

     Elizabeth Lord died young. They had three children.1,2 She was born 3 at Berwick, York County, Maine, on 8 January 1796.1,2 She was the daughter of John Lord and Sarah Huntress. Elizabeth Lord married as his second wife on 18 April 1819, at age 23, William Hancock, of Limerick, ME, a farmer, son of William Hancock and Elizabeth Leavitt.1,2

     Emma Lord was born at Hiram, Oxford County, Maine, on 8 May 1807.1 She was the daughter of Maj. Jacob Lord and Emma Day. Emma Lord of Hiram married at Hiram, Oxford County, Maine, (intentions 3 Dec 1826) on 16 December 1826, at age 19, her first cousin once removed John Huntress, age 23, of Hiram, son of Robert Huntress and Hannah Wadleigh, and sister of his brother William's wife Mary, and sister of both his sisters Elizabeth (first) and Frances's husband Jacob.2,3,1,4,5 Emma Lord died at South Hiram, Oxford County, Maine, on 24 June 1887 at age 80.6 She was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Cornish, York County, Maine.
     She was listed as the head of a family on the 1860 Census at Hiram, Oxford County, Maine.

     Ethel D Lord was born at Somersworth, Strafford County, New Hampshire, on 21 March 1888.1 She was the daughter of George Washington Lord and Ella F Wentworth.1 Ethel D Lord married before 27 May 1914, Harry Sparks.2
      Miss Ethel D. Lord passed two days of last week with Miss Annie E. Huntress, of Cambridge, Mass.3 Ethel D Lord and Harry Sparks resided at Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, between 27 May 1914 and 4 September 1914.2,4 Ethel D Lord and Samuel Frink Hatch resided at Manchester, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, on 10 July 1914.5 Mrs. Ruth L.
