      Mrs. Levi New and Mrs. J. P. Huntress took advantage of the excursion and went to Indiana last week.3 Nathan Hoad has begun suit against Mary L. Huntress and James P. Huntress to recover $500 and interest on a promissary note.11 Mrs. Mary Huntress is greatly improved after a recent illness of an attack of heart trouble.12 On 8 March 1916, Mary, widow of James K. P. Huntress, who served in Company B of the 1st Wisc. H. A., filed for a Civil War widows pension from the state of Ohio.13 Mary L. Huntress, 64, widow was listed on the 1920 Census at East Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, living with her adopted daughter Bertha L. Thornton, 24, and step-son Richard J. Thornton, 41.
