     Frederick Electrus Nute was born at Milton, Strafford County, New Hampshire, on 24 June 1821.1 He was the son of Israel Nute and Hannah Fish.1 Frederick Electrus Nute died of kidney disease at Lincoln, Penobscot County, Maine, on 28 August 1905 at age 84.2
     He resided at Lincoln, Penobscot County, Maine.3 Frederick Electrus Nute was a retired merchant on 28 August 1905.2

     George F. Nute was born at Burlington on 31 March 1841 (calculated from age at death).1,2,3 He was the son of William F Nute and Mary Jane Huntress.1 George F. Nute died of typhoid fever at camp in Virginia on 25 November 1862 at age 21.1
     George Nute, 19, born in VT was listed on the 1860 Census at Peacham, Caledonia County, Vermont, living with the Ira M. Minter family, farmer.2 He was a soldier in the Civil War Company F 15th Vermont Infantry.4
