     He was a soldier in The Revolution between 7 August 1776 and 17 September 1777 serving as a private in the 1st N.H. Battalion in a company commanded by Capt. Caleb Hodgon.4 He resided at Madbury, Strafford County, New Hampshire, on 5 June 1785.1
