     Samuel Rollins was baptized at Church of Newington, Newington, New Hampshire, on 23 September 1729 by Rev. Joseph Adams.1 He was the son of Samuel Rollins and Alice Dame.1 Samuel Rollins married at Church of Newington, Newington, New Hampshire, on 12 April 1753, at age 23, Mary Huntress, age 20, daughter of Lieut. Christopher Huntress and Mary Chick, ceremony performed by Rev. Joseph Adams.2,3 Samuel Rollins died in 1799.4
      "He was a town officer in Newington for many years: was Constable and Surveyor in 1749, and most of the time till 1770."4 He was admitted to Full Communion at Church of Newington, Newington, New Hampshire, on 8 April 1756.5 He took the Association Test at Newington, Rockingham County, New Hampshire, in 1776.6 Samuel Rawlings was listed as the head of a family on the 1790 Census at Newington, Rockingham County, New Hampshire. In his family were two males over 16 years of age (Samuel and Samuel), none under, and five females (Mary, Joanna, Mary, Elizabeth and unk).7 His will proved Jan. 13, 1800.4
