     Benjamin Russell was born before 30 August 1794. He married at York County, Maine, on 4 May 1812, Eunice Warren, daughter of Aaron Warren and Keziah Huntress.2,3 Benjamin Russell died at Battle of Plattsburgh on 30 August 1814.1,4
      Rosamund Russell and Benjamin Russell Jr. were named as heirs of Benjamin Russell pension and placed on the pension rolls York County, Maine 17 February 1815 for his service as a private in the War of 1812 in the 33rd Regiment Infantry, pension commencement: February 17, 1815, ending of pension: February 17, 1820.
