She retired from her duties five years ago, after having been a teacher in charge of one school for 42 years.
It was in 1850 that Mrs. Huntress was appointed a teacher in the Moulton st. ungraded school. It was then a little wooden building. The school increased in size and was engarged from time to time until the old wooden structure gave way to a handsome brick schoolhouse.
Five years ago Mrs. Huntress's eyesight failed, and she felt compelled to resign her position.
Mrs. Huntress was born in Vermont and came to Charlestown when a child. Her maiden name was Sandborn. She was married in Charlestown to J. G. Huntress, who died several years ago. Mrs. Huntress leaves two sons, one of whom is a resident of Jamaica Plain and the other of California.4

     Adeline Sanderson was born at Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, on 22 January 1848.1,2,3,4 She was the daughter of Lewis Sanderson and Philena Huntress.1 Adeline Sanderson married at Somerville, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, on 20 October 1880, at age 32, Isaac Marion Story, age 25, son of Judge Isaac Story Jr. and Elizabeth Bowen Woodbury, ceremony performed by Rev. Charles M Smith.1 Adeline Sanderson died of valvular disease of heart at Somerville, Middlesex County, Massachusetts, on 29 September 1900 at age 52.5
      Adeline Sanderson was a school teacher in 1870.4 She resided on 20 October 1880.1

Arthur Truston, Clergyman, Hingham.3 Alice Belle Sanderson died at Glendale, Los Angeles County, California, on 22 November 1960 at age 82.4 She was buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Glendale, Los Angeles County, California.
