     Ethel Huntress Spencer was born at Whitinsville, Worcester County, Massachusetts, on 1 July 1914.^1,2,3 She was the daughter of John Henry Spencer and Elsie E Huntress.¹ Ethel Huntress Spencer married after 4 April 1930, Harry Rierson.^1,2 Ethel Huntress Spencer died on 22 December 1958 at age 44.¹

Note: Ethel was a schoolteacher and married late in life to Harry Rierson in Christ Church in New York City. He was born May 22 1913 in Belmar and died Jan 29 1993. He was a Postman and remarried after Ethel died. They bought a summer place in Belmar with some land and fixed it up to be a year-round home. Ethel liked gardening. As a schoolteacher, she kept in close contact with aunts Mildred and Ethel. They had no issue. According to Harry, she died of cancer. I did not know she was buried in Pine Grove. I last saw Harry in 1962/3 with his new wife when they visited us in Holden, MA.⁴
